Hi all, returning to CGB after a long absence and was wondering if any of my old buddies are still about. I know Quito is retired, hotel sold, and Bomba’s Shack is gone. I see Nigel has moved on from a beach cooler to a proper shack now lol. Does anyone know if Prince the bartender is still working? He was at Myett’s last I saw. Thanks, can’t wait to be there soon.

Prince is at Myetts along with his wife Ernestine.Vishal runs Indigo House down the beach..owned by Val and Kareem of Myett's. Myett's food has greatly improved with a new company taking over the kitchen, The Elm has its Sunday bar b qs and The Elmtones usually play.Jeff Ross may still be playing some happy hours there and with is band Friday and Sats..I'll know that next week. The Bomba Shack has gone and is missed but Sebastians is putting on more music, bingo and karaoke ( a good or bad thing depending on your likes!).The Sugar Mill is still my go to for amazing food and company. A HUGE new plus is Omar's new bar and restaurant before the bridge to Soper's Hole called "Omar's Sandspit" great Indian and other dishes and fantastic atmosphere.,. I'll be around from May 29 to the end of July..say "Hi"

Sorry to hear that Mal. A trip from CRC towards Sopers Hole over the dirt road will live with me forever. You trying to engage reverse while we were staring over a cliff edge is something printed indelibly in my brain. Great times.

Thirty years of great times in the Thing. From being down in Baja, up in Sonoma, using it as a camera car, getting me though the LA riots and the OJ trial, floods ,fires and mudslides...shipping it to Tortola and having it survive Irma only to have this idiot ruin it breaks my heart. Got a decent Jeep now but its not the same..You and Jean are greatly missed down there..love to her

If I could drive my Jeep from California, I would 😋 Seems we have been in many of the same places at the same times. I will definitely hunt you down and force you to have a rum punch with me!

He needs me as skipper so, all being well, we'll both be there. I'm just about to PM you as well.
