Bought our redeye FC tickets from SEA-MIA-SXM for $831.50 pp for a Saturday arrival for May 9th on American. Couldn't pass it up at that price. Now have to wait 4weeks to book our return on AA miles.

Really wanted to go through CLT but couldn't pass this up. Who knows they could change it to CLT later which would be fine.

I got a surprise when I booked for March 2026 direct BOS- SXM Sat March 7th in cabin, $246 each person (total $492.) Now just booked return $311 per person

I figured something was wrong with those prices so I jumped fast. Never have gone to SXM ever before that cheap. Something's happening with the airlines.

I booked our outbound flight for May as well. 8000 miles per person. Wish that was for first class. 🤣

i booked my March to April flights a couple of weeks ago on airmiles. rt.....Miami 24k each. That's the lowest i've ever paid to go.

We were pleasantly surprised to get tickets from MSP in late January for 29K each! I was expecting much more. Connection is Charlotte.

Yes, going from CA to SXM costs you a day traveling there and back. You have to think it’s worth it and be able to pay the price.😑

Red eye isn't so bad departing around 10:30pm and arriving 1:20 next day in time to check in to timeshare. Retuning we get back late same day.

Clearly, you love SXM, but the redeyes are what make returning to Maui a bummer as the 10 hour redeye flight wipes out a 10 day vacation. Almost always fly to JFK and spend the night to take an early morning departure to Europe to avoid the redeye.

At least you chase the sun going home.

We booked a return flight for $2025 (CAD) in December out of Victoria, BC. We also are doing the red eye but not so bad because we will be there for two months.

That was for two people with Westjet, econflex.

If it's the Barkley Bank they are severing the AA affiliation first of year.

AA had a great program they ended last year. I had that card for years, it really wasn’t your typical credit card, but it was a card where you could pay for your tickets over 6 months interest free, which worked out great for my wife and I. I had that card for over 20 years and used it probably 75 times through the years. Not sure why they ended it, just got a letter last year saying it would no longer be available.

As a heads up tha AA Barkly card still covers your collision for car rentals in SXM. Pretty much the only time I use it.
