Hello,
I will be visiting in about a week and a half. I'd like to hit some of the beaches and do some snorkeling. It sounds like Dawn Beach could be a good spot. Anyone have any recommendations, and how easy is it to find parking at these beaches. Thanks!

The only good area is Pinel Island...I have stayed at Dawn Beach there is good snorkeling out around the rocks that come out from the Oyster Bay resort but it is deep and rough, you could easily get thrown into the rocks...would not chance it. The island is not know for it snorkeling. JMHO

The problem with Dawn Beach is that there is effectively no public parking there. If you can walk there from where you're staying, that's good. Otherwise, it will be difficult to get a place to park there. Other than Dawn, it's easy to find parking at other beaches. I hear that Creole Rock in Grand Case has good snorkelling, but you can't really do that from shore, you need to get a boat trip that stops there.
