I have a good friend who has family in Jamaica. I will ask her to send me links for organizations that will assist those in need, which I'm sure will be massive.

The people living in Jamaica need ours prayers. The people living in SXM know all too well what they will be going through today and for months afterwards.

I dont think it will be good for west side of island, Montego Bay or Negril. Big Storm barreling due north. Standby for high winds and heavy seas.

My friend's family is mainly on the west end, which was hit the hardest. She hasn't heard from them yet.

My friend still hasn't heard directly from her family, but someone from that area said they thought that everyone was safe. Hopefully she will hear soon.

My friend's family and friends are physically ok, although I'm sure traumatized from the widespread destruction. As of now, if anyone wants to give, they are suggesting an official Jamaican government website and Samaritan's purseI'm sure as time goes along, there will be other specific Jamaica places to donate.
