Good morning TTOLers - I ran a search for topics on Bermuda and did not get one hit. We'll be in Bermuda for a few days the beginning of October and was wondering if anyone had any recommendations for best beaches, dining and day-snorkeling charters.

Thanks in advance!
Kelly

You absolutely have to go to the Swizzle Inn for their amazing Rum Swizzles and their decadent fish sandwich!👍👍🍷The Inn is truly legendary!

Since it’s obvious no one else has any comments I suggest you go on TripAdvisor as I’ve used that for years and it’s proven to be reliable.

Horseshoe Bay is the must-see beach but Tobacco Bay is excellent for snorkeling right from shore. For a snorkeling charter, look for trips to the reefs and shipwrecks, as the visibility is usually amazing.

Yeah, I do look at TripAdvisor, but they typically highlight the most popular spots, which is where ALL the tourists go. One of the best things about TTOL is all the hidden gems that folks talk about and recommend in trip reports that may be off the beaten path.

No TA posts reviews on the best spots!
Believe me there are no hidden gems on Bermuda as it’s small and has been visited by hundreds of thousands of “tourists” for years. My recommendation of the Swizzle Inn is prominent on TA but it’s a well known GEM! Good luck in finding what you think you want😂😂😂

No, we haven't. My daughter planned this family trip as her college graduation celebration.

My wife and I have been six times over the years so take my comments above as spot on accurate. Small island, no “hidden gems, no such thing as off the beaten path, and the islands economy is focused on tourism.

The only hidden gem we ever found was the night our local cabbie, Sam, took us to a Small cigar smoke filled jazz bar where you walk up to the locked front door. Doorman slid open a small opening, knew Sam and let us in. We were the only white faces there and had an absolute blast😂🍷
