L'Ardoise means "the slate." All of the menu items are written on a chalkboard and have been different when I have passed by. I suspect they may change their menu a bit from night to night. The evening I was there, we shared goat cheese spring rolls, cod loins in white butter sauce, and a suck shepherd's pie with girolles mushrooms. All were excellent. The server also highly recommended the beef with camembert sauce.
Hopefully, these examples can give an idea of what to expect there on a given night.
