We returned home the April 24th after 14 great days on Tortola & Anegada. We spent 10 days in a villa by Brewers Bay and 4 days at Macs Place on Anegada. The weather was great with a little glitch when we went to Anegada were we encountered some overcast and showers. We didn't do much on Tortola except snorkel and enjoy the beach ( Smugglers , Brewers & Josiahs ) We did enjoy a dinner at the C&F and breakfast at the Shell Museum. We also tried Spaghetti Junction which had great food for the adults but our 4 year old expected a Rain Forest Cafe atmoshpere , go figure . We didn't experience any problems with theft at villa during our stay at Brewers Bay nor did we lock anything . Just the normal precautions while traveling , no cash unattended ! At the tail end of our trip we chartered a single engine plane through Fly BVI to take the 3 of us to Anegada . Everything went great with the flight , got dropped off at the airport and hung around until a taxi came by then it was off to Macs Place . After waking Mac up from his nap he kindly showed us to our place where we would be staying . We then walked up the beach to the Big Bamboo for lunch , which was good . We also enjoyed lunch another day at the Flash of Beauty , this really worked well with the little one . They actually had a variety of things for him to eat. Our last nights meal was at Neptunes Treasure which had great food and a very nice family running it. The snorkeling on Anegada was a little tough this trip due to high surf which causes very strog currents around the reef but it was still enjoyable . Great trip sad[Linked Image]to go home.

Edited by Administrator on 4/30/01 03:53 PM.
