Anyone have any suggestions for a water taxi from Virgin Gorda to STT. We are flying out of STT on 6/20 and the only ferry that we can find has a stop in Roadtown and would get us to STT about an hour before wheels up. For those of us that are OCD, that's cutting it a little too close and want to look into an alternative. Suggestions? Referrals?

It's been 6yrs since we have been back to BVI after years of being there every year. SUPER excited!! <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/circle.gif" alt="" />

Much appreciated!

Hi Carrie,

Welcome back! Here is the name of a water taxi that Nick at Leverick Bay suggested:

We are B&B Charters and Rentals, now operating out of the Leverick Bay Marina.

We do provide Airport Transfers between STT and the BVI's. We pick up and drop off at American Yacht Harbour in Red Hook. Our fee is $900 one way, maximum 8 guests, and includes all Customs and Immigration fees and any dockage incurred at AYH, plus we have a cooler of iced beverages waiting on board for you. Our fee does not include the taxi transfer from the airport; we book the service for you but the fee is your responsibility.

You might just want to fly instead. I don't know for sure, but I think the flight from Ace Flight Center is around $500 for the whole plane. Depending on the size of your group, a flight might make more sense.

Air Sunshine also has a scheduled flight for $150 that arrives at 10:45am.

A year or so ago Dohms quoted us around $900-$1,000 between STT and VG. We ended up flying from sju on a charter for $1,200-ish.

We used them for years between STT and STJ and have been very pleased.
