Sunsail and the Moorings share the same base. They have a couple of places at the base. The bar menu at the pool is fine if everyone is tired. If the dinghy is at your boat and your doing a sleep aboard you can jump in and head across the harbor to the place on the water at the main non charter Marina. The name eludes me at the moment.

We usually just eat at the base. Although we also arrive early morning and try to get off the dock as soon as we can - so a quick bite at the pool restaurant works well for us. Food is decent.

There's a Italian/pizza place across the street from the ferry terminal. It's an easy 15 min. walk. Don't feed the chickens!

That would be Capriccio which is an excellent choice..right across from the ferry dock..

C&F's for BBQ ribs/chicken.
A first night tradition for us.
Short cab ride from SS&Moorings base

Within a 10 minute cab ride you have a plethora of good to great restaurants. IMH opinion two of there three best on Tortola are the Dove in town and Brandywine about 10 minutes east. Then in town on the waterfront besides Pussers are Capriccio (great Italian) Origin (sushi), Cabernet Cafe, Bamboushay, and just a minute west is the Pub, Fort Burt, and Sharkeys. C&F is still open and a two minute ride. Virgin Queen at the roundabout and the Roti Cafe upstairs on Main Street. I have missed a few. Let me hear about those I HAVE OMITTED. OH YE, Charles at the Moorings and the Sports Club.

Charlie's at the Moorings / Sunsail base is right on the water, the food is good and the painkillers are strong.

You can even walk to C & F, head out to the Highway from the Moorings, turn east (right) walk to the Round-a-bout at Port Purcell then stay to the left and next road left (at Quomar), then next road left again and it will be coming up on your right. Would call first whether they are actually open.

C&F, if open, is great. I would take a taxi. Walked from it back to Moorings one night > more than a little bit interesting. rs
