First time poster, but have been following this forum for years! Just returned from 2 weeks in Paradise! Stayed at BSV (wouldn't stay anywhere else!) and I am pretty sure I met quite a few of you! We were the group of 8 from New England, me with the broken foot! Had a nice time at the pool talking with you all!
Observations: Yes - Lots of seaweed, but, boy, did the crew work hard every day to rake it! Kudos to them!!
Tried a few new places - Chesterfields and Yvettes, Loved both and will be back for sure. Food at Marks was really good, but SLOW service. A little disappointed with Toppers this trip.
Tried the Shwarma at Little Jerusalem. It was awesome and the owner is a hoot!
Mullet is one of our favorite beaches! Very large swells, but then it would calm down. We saw a few people that were not paying attention take a real beating in the surf!
One highlight this trip was the full day snorkeling excursion we took with Capt. Bob (Soualiga Destinations) out of Philipsburg! I would HIGHLY reccomend this trip!! Saw sea turtles and rays - It was so much fun!
Will be back in 2 years! Can't wait!!!

And I think we even said goodbye the day you were leaving. This was our first BSV stay and I'm thinking it won't be our last. We were the couple who came in on Saturday after two weeks at our timeshare elsewhere on the island and were in Suite #14, right next to the pool. What a great place!! The Soualiga trip is an awesome day and they sure do know what they're doing, but I am a bit prejudiced since they are personal friends, too. Nice to have met you if only so casually and hopefully, the 'boot' will soon be done. What part of RI are you from. Too bad you were never able to make it to one of the RI get-togethers. Maybe next time?

Thanks for the report! I put some extra spaces in to make it easier to read. I so much agree about Beachside! Other than at Regatta, I really have no desire to stay anywhere else..
As far as Captain Bob's trips, haven't been on one myself, but knowing Bob, I'm sure he does a wonderful job!

Is Little Jerusalem the place in the parking lot for Fresh Market? If not, then where is it?

If I'm not mistaken, it's right next door to the Palms and more or less across the street from Luna Rosa.

You are correct Pat. Little Jerusalem is right next door to the Palms. We might try the Palms next trip.
Maybe we will try to make the next Rhode Island get-together. It would be fun!
