I'm dropping a kid off for summer camp on Tortola and have about 4 days on island. 1st timer. I would really like to sail around some. Is it possible to get a 2-3 day trip for a solo traveler without chartering a whole boat just for me? Should I just skip it and stay on Tortola the whole time? Thanks!

There's no money in chartering a boat for 2-3 days. Too much overhead, so it's kinda unlikely. You can probably get aboard some day-sail, booze cruise type adventures.

Or check out Captain's Compass, they are a sponsor here. Their rates are so low, and you might be able to get a last minute deal, that even paying for a full week might be reasonable in cost for you.

If you decide to stay on Tortola for at least three days we'll give you a deal here at CRC (Chateau Relaxeau Caribe) with a 10% TTOL discount..
