Sticking with EWJ... Currently, United accounts for 4.6 percent of passengers at Kennedy, the least among major airlines there, according to the U.S. Transportation Department. It has the largest presence at Newark, with 48 percent

Before the United merger with Contoninental, there were direct flights from EWR to SXM on weekends even during slow season (September and October) by Continental. United no longer has any direct flights to SXM during those two months. After over twenty years of flying to SXM in September with direct flights by Continental we now have to go to JFK for a direct flight. I would like to see Southwest start up a EWR to SXM flight.
