Just back from a week in PR staying a villa we found through TTOL.... so thought that a brief report was appropriate.
Firstly the villa, Villa Sevilla run by Wally and Marina Lawson, was simply superb. In a beautiful rural location near the El Yunque National Park, the villa had amazing views and a beautiful garden complete with swimming pool. The hosts' hospitality was superb and we particularily appreciated their suggestions about what to see and where to go.
Visit highlights included Old San Juan, a trip to the rain forest guided by their friend Richard and the magnificent beach at Luquillo. Although perhaps a little out of character for the rainforest - the architecture at the El Yunque Visitors Centre was outstanding. A great trip!!
