Greetings! Post number 1. My husband and I have a small term charter business in the Virgin Islands. We arrived here in December 2014 and have done 9 charters so far this year. I started a Facebook business page called "Roger and Linda's Caribbean Sailing Charters." I have been writing on this page for about 2 years. I started the page the day we decided to sell the house and about everything we own, quite our jobs and move to the Virgin Islands to start a charter. Someone on my Facebook page suggested I start telling our story on Traveltalk so I signed up. In any case, here I am and maybe this will be good for the business and Roger and I can make some new friends.

First of all and most importantly – WELCOME!
TTOL is a group of friendly folks, people seeking paradise, and few curmudgeons that love blue water and white sand.
There is always a place and need for locals to answer the questions that only folks on island (or boat) can answer. It is a great place to exchange information and meet new friends. I think most folks frown on blatant advertising, but an occasional plug will slip by.
We look forward to you guys becoming active participants.

Another question. I wrote my first note in USVI and my second note in BVI because I was told there are more people in that forum. What are your thoughts.

Hi Carol. Actually we charter in the BVI though hang out in St Thomas because we have a ball we can use there. I want to down load a picture but am having trouble making it work so may not be doing it correctly.
