This restaurant is part of a group which also includes L'Auberge Gourmand, Bistro Caribes and Le Taste Vin. After visiting 3 restaurants and receiving your "global passport" stamp you receive a complimentary bottle of house infused rum. After 4 visits you receive a special gift from the chef. Won't know until next year since one of the restaurants is closed for vacation.
We were warmly greeted at the door by one of the partners who actually works across the street at his other restaurant. Seating was overlooking the beach with Anguilla sparkling in the background. This is an open air dinning room with good circulation which kept a comfortable temperature.
Service was spot on and friendly. Appetizers included a trio of mahi mahi tar tars each in their own distinctive sauces and herbs and a spring roll (not fried) filled with sushi tuna, wakame, and the crunch of thin sliced carrots. A light sauce with a touch of caramel and petite dots of soy and wasabi elevated the flavors of the dish.
For the main courses, house made fettuccine in a light tomato based sauce featured morsels of lobster. Lamb shank fell off the bone into a lick the bottom of the bowl lamb reduction. A very simple compliment of fettuccine with asparagus was served with the lamb. Lemon soufflé was a special end to the dinner along with the required complimentary shot of infused rum. This rum had a stronger alcohol taste than some others.
We were allowed to choose our complimentary bottle of rum from which ever restaurant we enjoyed the rum at most. Bistro Caribes was our choice.
An enjoyable evening, but nothing to write home about, but enough for a good review.

Not sure I understand your comment that it was nothing to write home about. It sounds like a glowing report to me.

Thank you as my life is about food. As a child, I lived above my parents restaurant and have been in the food industry for over 30 years. I now own a catering company and am always looking for new food ideas. I do receive assistance from my wife who is an amazon best selling author. My dream job would to be a food critic even though English was my worst subject in school. Still have about 10 more reviews to go before I head back to reality.

With so many restaurants to choose from on a two week vacation, some restaurants do not make it on the next years
return list. Usually only my 5 stars reviews make it on the list.
