This was our first trip and we are planning our second already. Stayed at the much discussed Westin. It was fine. I have found that the Westins are all unique to the area and except for the bed you need to be flexible in your expectations. Staff was friendly and helpful. No long delays for the two requests we had during our stay. We did not have a heavenly bath but the shower was good. I enjoyed the nice sized balcony and the coffemaker every morning. The grounds are beautiful, hummingbirds and iguanas everywhere. The pool has plenty of angles, easy to find a quiet spot to be comfortable. The beach is there but nothing to get excited about. We did not use it at all. We rented a jeep and enjoyed Trunk, Maho and Leinster beaches. The ferry service is great and convenient. The property is on a hill and you do alot of walking getting to the parking lot, etc. There is a shuttle but you do not always have one coming by when you need it. If you are lucky enough to be going to St John, do not stress about staying at the Westin. It is nice, it is clean and "you are on the beautiful island of St John", chill out and enjoy yourself. <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Wink.gif" alt="" />
