As mentioned in response to "seaweed" by D&C, we joined the Muriel-n-Paul around the island run yesterday. I have been over to Happy Bay at least once, sometimes 2-3 times, in 8 to 9 years of our past trips. I have never seen it looking so great. Long wide beach, great slope into ocean. Even lots of sand on the west end where there used to just be those dark rocks.
Got to say hi to Danny, he cooked up a good serving of chicken and ribs for the provided lunch. Sure we will be heading back over via the hike route. Asked Danny about chairs, said he has and can provide.

Folks shouldn't try to make the trek to Happy Bay this Sunday and hope to have a nude beach there, as the Daily Herald today says there is to be a BBQ there for supporters of one of SXM's political parties, on October 25.

Weekends are usually local family beach days so we reserve Happy Bay for during the week

Did this happen at Happy Bay?

Respectfully,

No, Happy Bay was happy time. No problems on beaches and I don't expect any.
