Day 10 Our last day before travel home tomorrow has arrived. We did a lot but did not hit all the spots we had hoped or spend as much quality time with friends as promised. Didn't get to see many acquaintances. And quality time alone which was key for us this trip didn't happen often enough.
With that in mind after a lovely morning on the beach and pool time with the BSV crew we drove to Dreams and had a romantic slow lunch for two.
Bruno was there to greet us with a warm welcome and gave us one of the outer tables. Service was impeccable and the menu and specials were so good in description I had a hard time choosing. We shared a volcano roll which had 8 pieces to it. So fresh, it was mahi mahi tempura with some vegetables and salmon on top with a green wasabi mayo. It was phenomenal.
We also had the Vietnamese fried chicken rolls that came with maki sushi rolls along with a sweet dipping sauce. I wrapped the mint and lettuce leaves around them and dipped into sauce- wonderful flavor. David watched me devour the Bo-Bun nem salad w peanuts, beef, shrimp and thin Asian noodles with a field of greens.
The choc pistachio cherry cake sounded too good to pass up so we didn't and shared it along with some of the smoothest infused rum we've ever had. The bartender makes it, flavor of the day was strawberry mint. We had a glorious lunch just me and my honey.
Don't know if we will be able to eat dinner tonight. Pouring now ...

Oh, I love that salad at Dreams!!!
You certainly have had more than your share of rain! Looks like it will be difficult getting out tonight for dinner!

As long as we don't fly out in heavy rain I am ok with not going out past immediate vicinity

Carol, rain was not a big issue the past 2 weeks. Brief showers during a couple of days with some heavier showers a few evenings. We went out last night and had a LONG dinner at Boca Marina. Our table was near the railing with no rain, and we enjoyed watching the Tarpon playing.
We had planned on a day off the beach today, so the clouds this morning are an encouragement.
Louise, your lunch looked fabulous, we still haven't tried lunch there. Maybe next trip or Sunday. Have a safe flight.

Thank you Terry. It poured while we were at Pat''s Roadhouse but didn't last beyond 10 minutes.
