Arrived Monday 2/22on United out of Newark. Nice flight, got in 10 minutes early. No line at immigration and no customs inspection after baggage claim.
Staying with a friend at Ocean Club.
Had breakfast at Sarafina one morning and then Atlantico Cafe one day. Great breakfasts and very reasonable.
Dinner at Mark's place one night - lots of food, reasonably prices and tasty.
New place tonight - Bar Code. It's up behind the Starz Casiono. Go past Starz and up the hill towards Rainbow Club. At the top turn right instead of left and it's on the left. Open air,(Covered) quite music, very laid back. Excellent food. Stared with a Caesar Salad which we split. Mostly I don't like Caesars because they are drowned in dressing. The dressing here was very sparing, perfect. We both had specials. I had the grilled MahiMahi. Came with a small salad and rice, topped with a fresh Salsa. Fish was perfectly cooked and tasted exceedingly fresh. The other entree was Veal Milanese. It was topped with fresh tomatoes, Parmesan and arugula and came with a side of pesto pasta. Really delicious. Service was great. The owner Evan formerly was at the Sugar Cane Cafe. We couldn't have been more pleased.
Fly home tomorrow the 26th. Then flying back on 3/6 for 3 weeks.
