It's not REAL near the airport, but Ronnie's Crystal Palace is a B & B downtown that is a historical gem, with a neat view of the harbor. Ronnie provides free airport and ferry drop off. NOT a beach hotel, but a different, interesting vibe.

Carib Beach, Island Beachcomber and Emerald beach hotels are all less than about 5 min. walk from the airport.

Island View Guest House is another option on the hill.
We love staying with Ronnie at Crystal Palace and that is our first choice on the hill above town.

By the way, why limit yourself to 'near the airport', if you've got 2-3 days?

I agree with Carol. If you have 2 or 3 days get far far away from the airport!G

Are there any decent restaurants near Linbergh Bay Hotel? I need to book close to the airport as well for one night in November for an early morning flight to Anegada the next morning.

The restaurant right across the street from the airport is pretty good.

I would take a $5 taxi to Frenchtown for dinner.

txjustin, check out Rum Shandy for great local draft beer brewed upstairs at Frenchtown Brewing. Hook, Line and Sinker is good food at Frenchtown Marina, home to CYOA Yacht Charters. Twisted Cork has great nicer fare, Betsy's has local characters and solid food. Those are our favorites. There is more.

And there is a new restaurateur operating the Pie Hole and Bella Blue, old Frenchtown standards...

We (party of 12, 3 rooms) just finished up our charter this past Saturday and spent that night at the Emerald Beach Resort. The pool was great, the beach was great, the food was ok, but it is right by the airport. We had no trouble making our flight early Sunday morning. I had read some not so great reviews and was starting to question our reservation, but we had no problems and everyone was extremely friendly. I did find the best rate by calling them directly instead of booking through an internet search engine.
