Sorry for the confusing title. I was wondering if anyone knows if the road between Club O and Orient village is open later at night now that more restaurants are open on the beach. It sure would be an easier way to drive to and from the village at night. When we were there in March I believe the gate closed around 7pm. Thank you,

No, not open at night. None of the "new" restaurants are open at night. Not sure if they plan to be open in the future, but the gate still closes around 7pm.

PERHAPS by high season some of them may be open at night, but right now, they really don't have enough business during the day even.

Thanks for the reply. I didn't think that the restaurants would be open but hoped with the better lighting and perhaps night time security they might keep the gate open. We will be there in July and again in the high season. I guess we will see if things change. Thanks again,
