I reached out to Leverick Bay Marina about a dock stay for one night June 30 on our rental 40' catamaran.

I was informed this morning that they are fully booked...I sent a follow up to see about a waiting list..and/or moving our dock stay date

Just a little surprised about this....

If Leverick is the destination and dockage only a secondary consideration, then don't worry about getting close. The mooring field at Leverick is quite large and should even that be full, you can anchor in 20 feet of water in excellent holding sand just outside of the mooring field (for free, too!). There aren't many spaces for a catamaran, as the finger piers are only wide enough for two monos or one cat each.
