WOW produces documentaries across the world, I believe. So perhaps Saphire Beach Club will be part of a documentary on improving St Maarten. I say this because wasn't that place recently renovated?

WOW! is the name of an upcoming film, hopefully released before the end of 2025, focused on the "beauty, vulnerability and resilience of the six Dutch Caribbean islands". I'm sure Sapphire is providing some services, like rooms for production crews, and will earn some sponsoring creds and marketing value. Links to articles about WOW! are below. WOW! Thanks bdeeley. I knew they produced films but I didn't know WOW was a name of a film.

Thanks Carol, If you watch the nature film trailer (YouTube teaser), it gives you an idea of what the nature film will look like. We will be there for two months in January and hopefully find out more.

I read the article also - and in in a word? My take is that WOW! is a "marketing" tool for the various Dutch islands.
