It rained heavily last night, for the first time in over a month. It is still raining, and is expected to continue all day and into tomorrow. Great news for my garden and newly-planted trees. Cisterns have been drying up. This is a particular problem because city water has been off in many areas, with WSD saying they lack the pipes (resources) to make repairs.

We were in the Bight and I bailed 10 - 15 gallons of water out of the dinghy!

Pull the plug out and run it a full throttle. Much easier than bailing!
