When i booked this cruise...my husband insisted we do Glacier park....so it was at the top of the list.

We did a med cruise on Princess...honestly...we liked NCL better.

I always book our excursions through the ship....and excursions are important to us.

But to answer your question...Juneau, Skagway, Ketchikan and Victoria all had lots of shopping near the ship....the furthest away was probably juneau...but you could catch a bus.

Our favorite place was definitely Glacier bay...but we did enjoy whale watching in Juneau.

I would probably have enjoyed whale watching in Victoria better than the gardens...but since we had already taken one whale watching adventure...I did not book the second one.
