Hello board ---
Just thought I would say hello this morning. It's early. Things on Anegada are good. The weather has been mostly sunny, fairly strong wind, some minor squalls. Temp about 85 during the day and 75 at night. Not too much boat traffic as far as I can tell.
There was a minor ship wreck at Flash of Beauty (Loblolly East) a few weeks ago as some illegal immigrants crashed their on their way onto the reefs. All people were okay but sent back to their countries. The captain escaped, apparently. The boat still sits in the water and some of it is breaking apart and drifting. Word is they started in St. Martin or Anguilla and were headed for St. Thomas but missed.

Just had dinner last night at Anegada Reef Hotel. Our guests enjoyed their lobsters, as usual. Lowell and Sue are fine. Sue opened up a computer line at the gift shop so boaters can check their email. Good idea. More and more provisions available there.

For those who know Stan and Doris from Faulkner's store, Doris is returning to NY for a few weeks. Stan will hold down the fort.

Mac is back on the island and feeling much better. The campground is now open again and already some guests have arrived and are camping. What a wonderful spot.

More news later.

Best,
George and Reggie at Lavenda Breeze
