I could be mistaken but I'm thinking that tree frogs and peepers are two distinctly different creatures.

I love the chirping sounds of the peepers in the early evening hours here in Connecticut in the springtime but on the other hand, we used to get invaded by the tiny little tree frogs every year and they were horrible!

They were so very loud we could hear them indoors with the doors and windows closed and they'd actually drown out the volume on the television and make telephone conversations almost impossible.

They used to gather in the brackish water in our pool cover and they were horrible. And there was always one particular loud mouth in the bunch that seemed to be the ringleader. We even found them on our porch on occasion.

Thank heavens we got rid of that solid pool cover and got a mesh one instead. No more brackish water seems to equal no more tree frogs. But the peepers, which we love, are still there.... A sign that summer is almost here!! <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Joy.gif" alt="" /> <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Joy.gif" alt="" />
