I cannot recommend any golf courses, but in the way of food that is pretty easy. I am not if there is a bad restaurant in Charleston. A friend who lived there for a long time recommended the Fat Hen, which is outside Charleston and it was VERY good, and reasonable. We went there for Sunday Brunch. I wish we would have gone to Husk. The menu is always changing and it is because they truly only use what is fresh. Everyone I have ever talked to that has eaten there said it was amazing. Real Southern cooking, albeit it may be a little more than you would like to spend by your post. Husk Menu The prices are not outrageous and anything but fine dining. It is Southern Charm! Recommend a reservation. Charleston is also known for their rooftop bars. Great place for a light dinner with a view. That would be one other thing, I would definitely add to your agenda. Enjoy!
