Mosquitoes are totally a function of how much rain there has been, whether it is windy, what kind of vegetation there is, etc. Plus, whether you personally are a mosquito magnet. I don't really understand the physics of that, but I know if there is a mosquito in 5 miles, it will bite me, and there could be hordes of mosquitoes and they will ignore Eric. Regardless, zika is not really a big deal for anyone that is not of child bearing age. Protect yourself as you can with repellent with Deet. That's about all you can do.
