For the reasons stated by StormJib and others, we have done evening starts for 25 years, with a request for an early morning checkout. Have seldom had to leave the dock after 10:30 am.
We are planning an 8 day owner's time charter through DYC in June. When I inquired about the evening start, the owner's agent never hesitated and even threw it in at no additional charge.
