If not too late, i highly recommend looking at option of flying into SJU and chartering Island Birds direct into Tortola. Flights into SJU are typically 150-200 cheaper so should be around same price as water taxi and STT flight. We have chartered to VG from SJU for the past three trips and I agree, it can be a break even versus flying to STT. Island birds is great and makes a SJU connection a breeze.
