It had only three quarters of a tank when I picked it up, and that's what the gauge showed when I returned the car so that was OK. It's just that the tank was nearly full even though the gauge showed less. They didn't seem concerned when I told them about it, saying after driving a bit after a fill, the gauge usually returned to an accurate reading. However, I drove back from Grand Case and the gauge didn't adjust. I reported it, and that's all I could do.

However, when I took the first car back to get tires pumped up, they didn't have an air compressor and said they could give me another car. At that point, the gauge showed less than when I picked the car up and she wanted to charge me $15! I explained I didn't know I'd be returning the car and they were the ones who didn't have an air compressor. So she backed down from charging me.
