Check out Offshore Passage Opportunities run by Hank Schmitt https://www.sailopo.com/I participated in the 2014 NARC rally aboard a Swan 53 that we delivered from Newport to BVI via Bermuda and St Maarten. It was a fantastic experience with a very skilled captain and great crewmates. An excellent way to gain more offshore sailing experience.
