Just returned after 17 days at Simpson Bay Resort, had 8 others with me this trip, including new gt.grandson. First year w/o husband Jim. Had another strange omen this year. A
pure white pigeon arrived my first day, very tame and would
accept hand feeding of scraps. Never saw it before in our 25 years 50-60 trips. Even Laura, the bar-maid said in her 12 years, she had never seen it before. Jim loved birds and I have many pictures of him feeding them around the pool. Was this him returning, who knows???? Most meals all cooked by me including prime ribs, filet mignon, steaks,
shrimp scampi, Italian night, Polish night, and more. Sorry, no pictures. Did eat at La Patrona twice and Salt and Peppy. Both were excellent. I stayed at the Resort, all
others did their usual beaches and various activities. Good to see other friends who returned this year, after leaving the resort a few years ago. Will most likely return again next year, everyone loves SXM....
