After several phone calls on Thursday afternoon I was able to get our March trip rebooked to another island at no charge but no dice on returning our FF miles (unless we wanted to pay a reinstatement fee of $150.00 each) so I finally gave up and thought I'd wait it out and see if the November flight was eventually cancelled, in which event we'd get the miles reinstated at no cost to us, and if not, I'd just forfeit them.
