Please forgive me if this has been covered in detail already. A group of us our coming down in January for a charter. We usually rent a car to run errands, grocery shop, alcohol, pick people up at the airport, etc... I have been reading the road conditions are not good and I assume a lot of the rental car places have been damaged.

Any information on rental cars that will be working in January or should we just budget and plan to take a taxi for these errands and pick-ups?
