My wife & I spent Thanksgiving week sharing a villa in Terres Basse with friends. Unfortunately, our friends had to leave after a week & we were lucky enough to be able to
spend 3 more days on the Island. We had heard about Club Fantastico on the French side over @ Orient Beach & decided to give it a try. We also had learned that it was under new management. The new managers were better than we could have hoped for, Chloe & Thierry! We had spent many happy evenings on previous trips when they ran the restaurant & bar @ Summit over on the Dutch side. After braving one of the worst rain storms & flooding in memory we were able to cross the Island & check in. There are 6 rooms & ours opened onto the pool deck with a view of Orient & hillside. Our room was very comfortable with a king sized poster bed & a huge wooden dresser. As we had anticipated Chloe & Thierry made our stay relaxing with no fuss. A continental breakfast was out each morning & all you have to do is ask & Thierry will fix you breakfast. In the evening just ask for your libation of choice or try being a bartender & make your own! We enjoyed several cocktail hours with spirited conversation with the other couples and made new friends. The weather was so/so but we did get some sun time to lay nude around the pool. Chloe & Thierry keep things laid back & we kinda wish we had spent our whole vacation @ Club Fantastico. We'll be back! Oh yeah, watch the driveway going in, its rather steep! If anyone has any questions about our stay at Fantastico just let me know.
