Since Sunday I have talked with other passengers and crew about the stop in Saint Martin and the general consensus is that almost everyone was very happy to stop in St. Martin. People were sad to see the destruction but were glad to go and help the island with some business. Everyone has commented on the friendliness of the people and how they were thanking cruisers for visiting the island. Even a couple that cruises a lot and sometimes stays on ship went ashore and walked front street, buying some jewelry.
