Hey it could be the advanced tab for a true crewed charter.... ADVANCE PROVISIONING ALLOWANCE - A.P.A. most full service charters will send you an invoice well before the charter for a cash advance of 25-35% of the total charter cost to stock the bar and the galley stores. That shocks many first time crewed charterers. Any cash cost would come out of that advance payment as well. You should expect a full accounting from the captain at the end of the charter. Any excess funds should be returned; any shortfall covered in cash by the person who signed the charter agreement.
