Infrastructure maintenance has never been a strong suit in the BVI. Whether that be school buildings, roads, electric grid, or water supply, a lot of damage could have been less severe if things were in better shape before the storm. They pissed away 7 million on an airline that never flew, but didn’t keep basic infrastructure in good repair. And that is unlikely to change.
