That is how to enjoy and experience Amsterdam! If you are lucky enough to be there in late spring or summer there may be a symphony playing on a barge on the canal in front of you.

Amsterdam is a magical place if you can escape falling into the tourist traps. Yes, there are plenty of coffee houses with smells of herbs rolling out the door. Yes, there are partially dressed females in windows looking for employment, and yes there is a city that is full of history, culture, and that has a small town feel.

It will be your choice what you want to experience.
