We are long term visitors of BVI, but having sold our boat pre Irma are now about to return to the Caribbean, land based. We will be staying on St Lucia just north of Soufriere and would welcome any suggestions: where to go, what to see,do etc. Our hotel is pretty difficult to reach by road apparently but water taxis are available. I shall be happy snorkeling, which I miss so much, but need to spend time with Hubbie too and would like to go out and about to experience the island a bit. Water taxi suggestions, who to use/avoid/prices would be helpful. We have visited St Lucia about 15 years ago, but were based near Castries and only went out to the north. Any hints and tips much appreciated. We do not want to hire a car due to the apparent inaccessibility of the hotel.
