I think fares are coming down. We booked for our November/December flights on Delta a couple of days ago, and got two round trips for a little over $1,200, arriving on a Monday and leaving on a Friday. Saturday to Saturday flights were outrageous, as was first class. However, a friend booked Saturday to Saturday for the first week in December for under $750 r/t coach. That's comparable to what we were paying before Irma. WOW! I didn't pay anywhere near that high amount for our March trip. I'd think Nov. would be a lot cheaper. $1200 rt for two seems very high. That amount would be very reasonable for many travelers. I just paid almost $750 for an upcoming trip and that was much less than what I had been seeing. What people pay on the East coast is nothing like most of the rest of the country.
