I booked flights to STT on Delta, and looking to save a little money for Painkillers, booked a fare titled "Basic Economy" This fare in non-refundable, non-changeable, and the seat assignments are given at checkin. Not too concerned about refunds or changes, we do have travel insurance for a major issue, but I'm wondering if my wife and I might be sitting together?
There was an up-sell button before I pushed go on the reservation, and for an additional $50, we could have chosen seats at booking.
I've got a little buyers remorse, and wondered if anyone has bought these "Basic Economy" tickets, and what was your experience?
