A lot will depend on your budget. Bermuda is a fairly expensive island. Hotels with beautiful beaches are on the south shore - Elbow Beach, Fairmont Southampton, The Reefs, etc. Hamilton Princess lets you stay in town but enjoy the beach at Southampton. I have been there about 25 times, I guess. Initially used to stay at Elbow and Southampton. A little older now <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Grin.gif" alt="" /> and stay at Rosedon, a guest house in the city, right across from the Hamilton Princess. Rosedon provides transportation to a southshore beach just along from Elbow. Good value for money. We like being in the city as you can walk to many fine restaurants (save on taxi fares - no rental cars available) and still feel safe. If you have questions, I may be able to answer, offer advice.
