It is often asked on here about what one can carry on or pack and meet TSA requirements. Many people rely on answers here and hopefully most are accurate but it is always best to check for yourself with the agency making the rules and decisions. Frozen meat comes into question a lot as does medications and toiletries, carry on restrictions versus checked luggage. In some cases, one should check directly with their respective airline or the FAA. I would also suggest checking as to if SXM (or any other destination you may have) has any additional restrictions. This was brought to my attention by another forum member. A couple of specific items of concern are self-defense sprays (as in pepper/mace) and various batteries, specifically lithium.
