Arrival day
I can't believe we are here! This arrival day has been the best yet. we have done something different this time and left from Moncton instead of Halifax, drove 1'.5 hours instead of 4 and stayed with my sister . Watched the hockey game and Ward did the ultimate happy dance! Boston takes it in four Up a o dark thirty to catch our early flight, The weather has been so crappy the past month and this morning is no exception, Tropical storm andrea is dumping rain as we head to the airport. No wind yet so flights not delayed. Flying westjet this time and they are awesome, For some reason we get to sit in priority seating with the extra leg room, Ward iis convinced it is his Boston t shirt and hat he is wering to celebrate the sweep, he is getting lots of high fives, Arrival in Toronto without issues and our connecting experience there is surprisingly uneventful ', They are notorious for losing your luggage making you late and pissing people off, Not us today, the flight gods have smiled on us, off to San Juan next , Oh how I wish I could sleep like the rest of them, I am so jealous as I look around at the drooling snoring masses! I feel like the only one awake I twist I turn I flipi flop , Arrival SJ and again the flight gods are with us , We had 2 hours to connect with our next leg, Bought the computer pack this time and had no problem cape Air is amazing , A guy helped us on the elevator and said follow me, took us to get our boarding passes , tickets and escorted us to priority hoarding , 2 hours in San Juan to get our connections and needed it all , Ok again Ward feels like his Bruins shirt is working magic as he gets to be the copilot on our cape air flight, very cool and he feels like his is king of the world, Arrival at EIS is smoothest flight all day, A small glitch upon arrival < our hockey bag with our cooler full of meat and seafod has not arrived ) but being the cup always half full folks we are we figure its coming on the next plane which tookmoff at the same time as us,, Yup here it comes, all is good , Out we go to meet the NSX and are greeted by Amos who redognizes us from prevoius trips, This is so cool, get our bags settled on the dock and off to the market to fill our soft sided cooler full of beer and ice for the north sound ferry ride,
Captain Crispen welcomes up aboard , A few cold ones later and we are both in total relax mode, I say to Ward as we are motoring to the north sound at sunset- we need to figure out how to be here more often and he says you say this every first day we come here, We need to do something about this no? arrival at Leverick, head to the bar to rally up a ride out to Reef song, A great lad named Brian from Utopia graciously gives us a lift to fetch the dinghy, All unpacked and having grey goose night caps on the bow in the most incredible cool dry air and star filed skies I can imagine , This is why we come here and why we dream of being here when we are not , I love my life tonight and can't wait for more adventures. <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Grin.gif" alt="" />
