I thought all cruise lines were on a 'no sail' order until August? You are correct Carol. According to my Travel Agent (as of Yesterday), August 1st is "supposed" to be the start-up date for any of her bookings. We have an August 15th Cruise sailing out of New Orleans, and she said that it probably would not happen. We booked it last year, and it is paid for, but she said the Cruise lines that sail from N.O. (Disney, Royal Caribbean, Carnival, and NCL), have not made any plans to restart sailing out of New Orleans for now. IF (that's a big if) any Cruises start in August, they will be from Florida (Miami, Ft. Lauderdale, etc). Cruising looks iffy at best. Not many people are willing to book Cruises with the uncertainty of the sailings, the safety once onboard, and the chance to get a refund if canceled. We are hoping that our Cruise Line for August cancels, and we can get a full refund.
