We booked our Westjet flight for January 31 to February 9 back in August when there was a great sale. Got an email from Westjet a couple of weeks ago saying our January 31 flight was cancelled but they did not cancel our return flight on February 9. I called and cancelled our return flight and got our money back. We had booked a condo but did not have to pay any deposit. I also cancelled the condo. Fortunately we are not out of pocket for any cancellations. I am undecided about booking later in February because Westjet could cancel again. Oh well....maybe we will go somewhere else.
