Sunday, Day 11 - Another beautiful day in my paradise. Started with that Carrot Cake we brought home from The Palm's. Didn't have the whipped cream around it, but I think it almost tasted better as the carmel drizzle had soaked in. Think Bill and Elaine might be on to something really good with eating it later. It was busy in Simpson Bay with numerous sailing boats. Lunch was ham and cheese on French bread and heated to melt the cheese. Afternoon we went to casino for awhile. Betty up, Norm down. Picked up dinner from Captain Ribs on Welfare Rd across from shuttered Skipjacks. Perfect meal for us, 1/2 slab of ribs with 2 sides. $15. We had Mac&Cheese and Cold Slaw as our sides. Ribs were dry rubbed and good. Sauce on the side.
It was Superbowl Sunday. Went to The Pub watch and see if our numbers won anything.....Nope.
